Biography

I was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, but was mostly raised in British Columbia. Growing up, I played basketball, baseball, and soccer. I played college basketball at Douglas College in Burnaby, B.C. My academic training includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Simon Fraser University, and a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of British Columbia. I am also currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Lethbridge. My first year teaching was at Magrath Junior High school, followed by two years at Crystal Spring Colony School. The past few years I've also helped coach the JV Boys basketball teams in both Magrath and Raymond. My wife and I have six children. My hobbies include reading, camping, fishing, cycling, making oatmeal for my wife, and hanging out with my family. I am excited to be here at Raymond Junior High School and look forward to a wonderful year.
